Collin Friesen was born in Saskatchewan Canada. The son of a high school teacher and church secretary, he received his BA from the University of Manitoba before working as a reporter/anchor for a local TV station. After a two year stint with the CBC in Alberta, he cashed in his life savings and went to film school in Los Angeles. Upon graduating from the AFI, he sold his first script, The Big White, which was turned into a feature starring Robin Williams and Holly Hunter. Collin has also worked on the Fox series The Lone Gunmen, CBC’s Schitt’s Creek, and handled multiple assignments for various studios. He currently lives in the Los Feliz neighborhood with his wife Stephanie Czajkowski.
